Henry “Hank” Daggett age 86
Of Pembroke, MA passed away on March 7, 2020. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Doris Daggett. Hank had 8 children; Ann Marie Edwards and her deceased husband Dale, Lynda Koser and her husband Randy, Cheryl Bush, Denise Mizzoni, Lisa McLaughlin and her deceased husband Jack, Julia Daggett and her husband Chris Leadbetter, Jenny Deegan and her husband Brian, Henry A. “Andy” Daggett, Jr. and his wife, Tammy.
Hank grew up in the Hough’s Neck section of Quincy, MA, then moved to Hanson. Upon his marriage to Doris, they moved to Pembroke for the past 57 years. He is survived by 17 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
He owned his own contracting business for many years throughout the Boston area. He was most proud of being on the Pembroke Fire Department for 34 years. He was commissioner of the Department of Public Works for three years and representative of the Plymouth County Water Commission for 6 years. He was also a longstanding board member on the Pembroke Housing Authority.
Hank was also an avid skin diver, spearfisherman, and as a member of the Pembroke, Diving Team participated in many search and rescue missions. He enjoyed boating and hunting for 65 years.

Please join us in celebration of Hank’s life. Visiting hours will be held at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 216 Main Street, Kingston, Ma on Thursday March 12th from 2-6 p.m. There will be a short service starting at 5:30. Interment will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to a fire fighter’s scholarship fund set-up in Hank’s name at any Rockland Trust Bank. Please reference the scholarship name, "Hank Daggett Memorial Scholarship Fund"
