In the few times I was blessed to meet Mrs Uvila - I knew her as " Eric's Mom" - she was always so pleasant, so positive, and had an ever-present grin on her face. She was so very proud of her Children and Grandchildren, and so eager to chat to myself as a Friend of Eric's, not just to learn about me, but, when I was done talking, she could not wait to brag about Eric!! There is a Classic saying an old Coach taught me years ago which fits your dear Anne so perfectly:
" Good, better, best,
Never, ever, rest,
Until the good get better,
And the better get best."
She was the Best.
May God Bless you all at this most difficult time

Anne Ulvila was the most loving, caring, and forgiving lady we have known. Through the good times Anne was so much fun and loving, and in the tough times, Anne always remained as positive and supportive as anyone could possibly be. Even when Harry would bring his young "protege" home for dinner after a tough day at the office with no notice to Anne!
An amazing lady, we will miss Anne dearly.

Dear Laura,
Our fondest & heartfelt condolences and prayers to you and the entire Ulvila Family.
Ann & Harry were major pieces of the 613th TFS in the 1960s, first at England AFB in Alexandria LA (from where we were TDY to, and one of the first to fight in VietNam), then for three years at Torrejon AB in Spain. The lessons Harry taught us about flying the indomitable F-100 Super Sabre, and the life lessons we all learned from Ann have been a part of our lives ever since.
May God grant you & your the family the peace that passes all understanding, and may HE bless you & carry you through these difficult & trying times.
In HIS love and grace,
CT & Susan Wang

Thank you for your thoughtful comments. We treasured our wonderful and accomplished parents. We spent many happy times together and shared countless loving and laughter filled moments together. I’m imagining Mom and Dad reunited again and it brings me great joy.
Mom’s funeral services are planned for March 13 @ 10am at the First Congregational Church of Pembroke. I’m preparing a eulogy that will be reflective of Mom’s generous and interesting life.
