Donna was a fantastic grandmother for my boys, and at times like a third parent to, Michael and David at times. Michael remained just as close with her when David moved out of town.
You ask her about her favorite food, she always loved a good cheeseburger more than life itself. As David said, "Grandma always said "if you only need one napkin, it's not a good burger."
Michael will have forever memories of places and times shared with his Grandmother, whether it was going to Friendlys for the 10-scoop sundae, doing homework with ice cream, to visiting Boston for the "Make Way for Ducklings" and not to forget Chuckie cheese.
Michael, Harley and I shared many a Sunday's visiting Donna over the past couple years. We would bring her a vanilla milkshake, with whipped cream - her smile grew so bright, still not sure if it was the shake or us visiting. The conversation shared was fun, she looked forward to discussing days passed as well as days to come.
Thank you Donna, for all you shared with my boys as they grew up.
