Obituary of Judith A. Marchetti

Judith Ann (Selila) Marchetti, passed away on December 17, 2019, at her home in Laguna Woods, California. Judy was one of three children born to Joseph Adam and Marion Helen Selila of Brockton, Massachusetts. She graduated from Brockton High School in 1963 and The Faulkner Hospital School of Nursing in Jamaica Plain, MA, in 1966. She had a lengthy career as a Registered Nurse, working in numerous hospitals and medical offices. In her later years, she was a dedicated caretaker of the elderly and disabled. Judy was predeceased by her parents and her brother Joseph Dennis Selila. She is survived by her sister Mary Mandeville and her husband Stephen of Sandwich, MA; daughter Michelle Beck of Kingston, MA; daughter Cheryl Emery and her husband David of North Richland Hills, TX; grandson Christopher Beck, his wife Jennifer, and their daughters Molly and Madelyn of Hanover, MA; grandson Michael Beck, his wife Helen, and their daughter Adeline of Richlands, NC; and grandson Matthew Beck of Boston, MA. Memorial visiting hours will be held at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 216 Main St (Rt. 106), Kingston, on Saturday, January 18th from 10-12, followed by a memorial service led by Deacon Nickley at noon. The burial will be immediately following at St Thomas Aquinas Catholic Cemetery in Bridgewater.
