Obituary of Marie P. Carvalho

Marie Paulette Carvalho, age 78 of Pembroke Ma passed away peacefully on October 24, 2019 at 7:48 pm at South Shore Hospital in Weymouth Ma, surrounded by her loving family and grandchildren. 

Marie was born in Boston, MA on December 19, 1940.  She enjoyed knitting blankets for her children and grandchildren, she was an avid watcher of WWF wrestling, NASCAR racing and spending time at Foxwoods Casino.  Marie is survived by her loving husband of 45 years William Carvalho of Pembroke, MA. her children Debie & Robert Benoit of Bridgewater MA, Michael Carvalho of South Boston,Christine Carvalho of Fall River, MA, Ernest & Hope Carvalho of  Columbus, KS and Susanna & MichaelPloof of Rochester, NH, brother Richard Ploof of Saugus, MA and sister Lesley Cefelo of Saugus, MA and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.  She is preceded in death by her parents Harold Ploof and Margaret (Donlan) Ploof, sons Anthony Carvalho and William Carvalho,   brother Harold Ploof and sister Elizabeth Sullivan. 

Calling hours will be from 4 to 8 pm at Shepherds Funeral Home 216 Main St Kingston, MA on October 30, 2019. Funeral Service will be held at October 31 at 10:00 am with Father McCarthy of St TheclasParish 145 Washington St, Pembroke MA. on October 31 at 10 am.   Burial will follow at Pembroke Center Cemetery, Pembroke MA.  The family invites you to join them at a reception that will be held at Knights of Columbus 48 Schoosett St, Pembroke MA on October 31 at 12:00 pm. Shepherds Funeral will be handling the funeral arrangements.
