Obituary of Marion F. Volpe

On August 15, 2019, Marion (Simmons) Volpe from Carver, and formerly of Quincy, passed away just shy of 93 years of age. She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph Volpe and the mother of Kevin Volpe who predeceased her.

Marion leaves her son, Dennis and his wife Sandy of Wilmington, and her daughter Karyn Falce and her husband Paul of Middleboro. She had three grandchildren, Keith Falce, and his wife Stephanie, Marissa Volpe and Erik Merry, Jenna Lesko and her husband Bob, and her daughter in law Paula Volpe. She had two great grandchildren, Emma, and Dylan Falce, and two step great grandchildren, Emma Camille, and Ethan Byrd.

Her sister Elaine Gillis and Joan Edsall, and her brother Newell Simmons predeceased her. She is survived by her sister Audrey Oliveira. She is also survived by three sisters in law and a brother in law, many nieces, nephews, and friends, and she will also be missed by Jennifer Dillis DeSimone. Her constant and loyal companion, Blackie her beloved cat, provided so much comfort to her.
