Halifax-  Reverend Henry Belcher, 88, passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 20, 2019, surrounded by his loving family.  He was born and raised in Brockton, MA., a graduate of Brockton High School, and Son of Henry and Elsie Belcher.

He leaves his wife of 66 years, Ann (Appleman) Belcher, and their 6 children. Daughters; Pamela and Sandra.   Sons; Larry, Hank Jr., Scott, and Phillip along with their spouses, and his sister Nancy Adam and her children.  He was the proud “Grampy” of 24 Grandchildren and 20 Great Grandchildren.                                                                                        He served his country during the Korean War in the US Air Force. Over the years he accomplished many things…  Known for his beautiful singing voice he founded the very popular singinggroup the Cape Codder’s and also performed as a soloist at many events and churches.                                                                      He was part  owner of Belcher &Cunningham Construction Co. for many years. He felt his greatest achievement was becoming a minister of the Silver Lake Chapel in Plympton and watching his congregation grow spreading God’s word.

He lived his life enjoying simple pleasures, spending time with his family, traveling around the country with his wife in their camper, fishing, canoeing, and keeping up with his grandchildren on Facebook 

He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend to everyone.
