Obituary of Gordon Paul Webber

Please share a memory of Gordon to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Gordon Paul Webber, age 66 passed away Wednesday evening May 15th unexpectedly in the comfort of his home in Carver Massachusetts

Gordon was born on May 5,1953 to Meta and Paul Webber in Plymouth MA he is survived by his wife Maureen, daughter Pamela, son John Paul, and granddaughter Holly

Born and raised in Plymouth Massachusetts he was a proud "Plimothian" who loved to fish every pond or lake he could drop a fishing line in! He also appreciated any classic car he happened upon and would never pass up the opportunity to help fix a car for those he loved and cared about.

He was a person with patience and humility at a level many may never get the honor of knowing personally, as well as a man of conviction with the stubborn strength to stand against anyone that might hurt his community or the people he loved. He often did so with an idiosyncratic flare that also defined his goofy sense of humor and the passion with which he loved nature, fishing, classic cars, and most importantly his family, and friends. At the same time he never hesitated to lend a helping hand to a stranger.

Those that knew and loved Gordon would define him by his long-winded stories about family, fishing, and Plymouth while recalling him by his aviator glasses, warm-inviting demeanor, and exuberant laugh!

Our family will not mourn for him, but rather celebrate the life he lead and mourn for those that did not have the privilege of knowing him.

We invite you to celebrate his life and the love and passion he celebrated it with along with us.
