Obituary of Scott R Foster

Please share a memory of Scott to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Scott R. Foster, 56 of Carver, passed away peacefully in his own home after a long battle with cancer on March 9, 2019.

Scott was born in Weymouth, Ma on December 6, 1962 to Richard Foster and Margaret (Hern) Foster.

Scott was a master plasterer of 38 years and enjoyed working with his hands. He loved being outdoors in nature and was a very skilled hunter and fisherman. He spent much of his free time wood working and during the warmer months you would always find him in his vegetable garden and tending to his lawn. Scott was a very passionate and loyal individual, especially with his family and friends. No matter where Scott went, he had a special way of using his sense of humor and made friends everywhere. Scott was loyal and passionate in all that he did, especially with his family and friends. Scott  made an everlasting impression wherever he went and will deeply missed by many.

Scott is survived by his mother Margaret N. Foster, his loving soul mate of 22 years, Jan E. Thayer, his son James. S Foster, his daughter Talia L. Coronella and her spouse Paul A. Coronella Jr, his brother Bradley Foster and nephew Gregory Foster. He was the beloved grandfather to Anthony, Owen, Dylan, Leonardo, Chloe and Josephine; all of whom he enjoyed taking on walks down to the pond where they would go fishing together.

Services will be held Friday March 15, 2019 at Shepherd Funeral home 116 Main St. (Rte 58) Carver from 4 p.m.-7 p.m. A private family gathering will follow.
