Obituary of Jeanne Girard Quinzani

Jeanne Girard Quinzani of Duxbury passed away at the Newfield House in Plymouth on March 7, 2019 at the age of 94. She was the beloved wife of Arthur Quinzani for 60 years and loving mother of Stephen Quinzani and wife Deborah of Cohasset, Janet Quinzani of Hemet California and Rob Roy Quinzani and his wife Julia Chuslo of Duxbury. She was the cherished grandmother of Max and Augustus Quinzani, both of New York City, NY and Wesley Quinzani of Duxbury. She is survived by a sister, Beatrice Girard Moran of Redington Beach, FL. And a brother Stephen Girard of Germantown, Maryland. She was the great grandmother of one year old Cora Quinzani of New York City. 

Born in Brookline, MA, Jeanne had a master’s degree in education from Wheelock College and was a first through third grade teacher in Westwood, Ma in the 1970’s. She was a Library Trustee in Duxbury and an avid tennis player for years. A memorial mass will be held at the Holy Family Church in Duxbury at 10:00 a.m. on Monday March 11.  In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
