William “Bill” Ruprecht of Middleboro, formerly of Wells ME and Halifax passed away peacefully at home on March 2,2019. Bill was the beloved husband of 30 years to the late Joyce (Beauregard) Ruprecht. Bill was born February 25, 1938 in Plymouth, MA and was raised in Kingston MA. Son of the late John and Aili (Alander) Ruprecht. He attended Silver Lake High School and the University of Massachusetts. He worked as a UPS driver before retiring to Maine.

In his spare time, Bill enjoyed Sudoku puzzles, bowling, the Red Sox, traveling by RV and restoring antique Chevys. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus.

Bill is the father of William (Bill) Ruprecht Jr of Merrimack NH, Patricia (Ruprecht)Kennedy of Gloucester and Peter Ruprecht of Goffstown, NH. He was stepfather to Denise Martikke of MI, Stacy (Martikke) Rogers and her husband Jerry of Pembroke, and the late Keith (Joe) Martikke. Bill was “Papa” to Erin, Chandler, Morgan, Corey, Kyle and Lauren. He is great grandpa to Cameron, Liam and Olivia.

Bill was the brother to the late Earl David Ruprecht and Margaret (Ruprecht) Briggs. He is survived by his brothers John E. Ruprecht of Carver, James A Ruprecht and his wife Sharon of Kingston, and Linda M (Ruprecht) Heiss and her husband Ken of ME. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours on Wednesday March 6, 2019 from 4-8 PM at Shepherd Funeral home, 116 Maine Street, Carver MA 02330.

A funeral mass will be celebrated at our Lady of Lourdes, Carver on Thursday March 7 at 10:30 AM, followed by interment at Center Cemetery, Halifax.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Cranberry Hospice, 36 Cordage Park Circle Suite 326, Plymouth, MA 02360.
