Lorna (Ullock) Sherman, of Pembroke passed away peacefully in her sleep at home with her family on January 21, 2019. She was born in Bar Harbor, ME on August 22, 1931 to Harry and Claudia (Stoneman) Ullock. Predeceased by her brother, Harry Ullock and former husband Burton L. Sherman.

She is survived by her daughter, Stacey (Sherman) DiGiovanni and son-in-law, Mark Digiovanni, her son, Steven Sherman of Carver, sister-in-law, Louis Ullock, and cousins, Shirlee Saldutti and Frank Hallberg, and so many lifelong, loving, amazing friends that were very much family to her. Lorna was the grandmother (Noni) to Michael DiGiovanni, Jessica DiGiovanni, Steven Sherman (Jr.) and Elizabeth Sherman and great grandmother to Anthony and Vincent Cafarelli and loving adoptive mother to her cats, Buddy and Sammy.

Lorna spent many years living and working in Florida before moving to Pembroke to be near family fifteen years ago. She loved spending time with her friends and family, doting on her pets, gardening, decorating and painting. She will be greatly missed by all her knew and loved her.

Lorna’s family invite you to celebrate her life at the First Church of Pembroke (105 Center St. Pembroke, MA) on February 9, 2019 at 11:00 am followed by gathering at Pembroke Historical Society, located directly across from the First Church.
