One of my favorite stories of Tom was a skiing trip to Wildcat we did together when my relationship with my husband, Jamie, was very new. Jamie was skiing at Wildcat with other friends and the 3 of us took a couple of runs together. At that time Jamie was a terrible skier and had many wipeouts. Tom's brotherly advice was "Mary, if you like this guy, you better fall down a few times".
