Obituary of Robert E. Bushey

Robert E. “Bob” Bushey, age 66, of Halifax died suddenly on December 27, 2018. Bob was born in Boston and worked in the banking industry for over 40 years. He was a veteran having served in the US Air Force. He also was an avid reader and a World War II history buff.
Bob leaves behind his devoted wife of 38 years, Marian (Finocchiaro) Bushey. He was the son of the late Robert A. Bushey and the late Evelyn L. (Lyons) Bushey and is survived by his sister, Barbara Budak and her husband, Robert; brother Charles (Richie) Bushey and his wife, Elaine; brother James (Jim) Bushey, sister Judith (Judy) Nazzaro and her husband John; brother Christopher (Chris) Bushey and his wife, Karen; and brother George Bushey. Bob also leaves behind many in-laws and nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, January 2, 2019 from 4:00-8:00PM (with a service of remembrance at 7:30pm) at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 7 Mattakeesett Street, (rt. 14) Pembroke. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Bob’s name to the Children’s Tumor Foundation (www.ctf.org).
