Obituary of Kathleen M. Leva

Kathleen “Katie” M. Leva, 62, passed away peacefully with family by her side on December 23, 2018. Daughter of Peggy Carbin McHugh and Robert McHugh. She is survived by her husband Michael, brothers Robert, Brian, cousins and extended family. Kathleen “Katie” worked as a legal assistant for many years before retiring in 2015.  She loved the water and enjoyed vacationing with friends at  Sebago Lake and Ogunquit. She was very creative and stylish. Katie enjoyed crafting, interior design and fashion, always with a colorful twist. She was an avid reader, enjoyed  crossword puzzles and watching old movies.  She had a very generous spirit , she was  happiest when with friends and family. She relished social gatherings and dining out. Katie touch the lives of many people, may she rest in peace. Memorial Visiting Hours will be held on Tuesday, January 8,  at the Shepherd Funeral Home,  216 Main St, Kingston MA, from 2:00 to 6:00PM. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Kathleen’s name to McCarthy Care Center, Sandwich, MA or  Dana Farber Cancer Institute Boston, MA is appreciated.
