Cynthia (Graser) Locke, 86, passed away suddenly on December 20, 2018. Loving wife of Richard T. Locke of Duxbury and Sagamore Beach. Born in Huntington, NY, she was raised in Needham, MA, before moving to Duxbury in 1964. Cynthia studied two years at Gulf Park Junior College and attended West Virginia University, before earning her Masters at Boston University. Cynthia worked in the nursing field for many years before working with hearing impaired students in Duxbury. She also worked in the high school and was active with the Boosters Club and American Field Service. Cynthia was a member of the International Chinese Snuff Bottle Society,  which allowed her to travel the world, she attended the most recent convention in Baltimore, MD, last October. 
She is the daughter of Theodore N. Graser Jr. and Eleanor Graser. Sister  of Theodore Graser III and his wife Emily of Lafayett Louisiana. Cynthia was pre deceased in death by her son John. She leaves behind her husband of 65 years, Richard Locke. Beloved mother of Peter and his wife Debby, Andrew and his wife Traci, William and his wife Janice and a daughter Sarah and her husband David. Cynthia leaves behind beloved grandchildren, Jimmy, Amy, Chris, Tyler, Jennifer and great grand daughter Megan. 
Memorial Visiting Hours will be held at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 216 Main St, Kingston on Thursday, December 27, from 3:00 to 5:00PM.
