Obituary of Kathleen M. Collins

Kathleen M. Collins passed away peacefully in her sleep Monday November 26, 2018 at her residence in Pembroke, she was 73. Born January 3rd, 1945 in Boston, to John F. and Rita M. (Mackey) Looby of Weymouth she attended Catholic Schooling through her youth to graduate from Sacred Heart in Weymouth, Class of 1962. She leaves behind her brother John and wife Beth Looby of Braintree and her sister Rita Looby of Prescott Valley, AZ.

She is survived by her ex-husband, yet close friend Patrick A. Collins of Onset and their three children with respective husband or wives. Tracy Mamaty and husband John of Pembroke. Her son Patrick J. and wife Tina Collins of Halifax.  Ending with her son Christopher J. and wife Tanya Collins of Pembroke.  She will be dearly missed by her eight grandchildren.  Samantha Mamaty of Pembroke, Jacob Collins of West Bridgewater, Kayla Stagnone with P.J. Collins Jr. of Abington, Joey, Gianna along with Jenna Marie Collins of Halifax and Rayelle Collins of Pembroke.

Kathleen “Kathy” had a great love for animals and all of nature in general. She was a very kind, loving gentle soul that touched so many around her but still had a large sense of humor.  Always there as a friend to listen if there was the need and somehow find humor in all aspects of life.

A memorial service will be Thursday December 6th, 2018 at Shepherd Funeral Home, 7 Mattakeesett St (Rt. 14) Pembroke from 4-8:00 PM, all are welcome.

In lieu of flowers please make any donations to the ASPCA or your local animal shelter.
