Obituary of Mary C. Tomaszycki

Mary C. (Winslow) Tomaszycki, 69, of Carver passed away on November 26, 2018. Survived by her husband of 46 years, Francis, son David and his wife Melanie, grandsons Griffin, Nolan, and Cameron, daughter Kathleen and her fiance Manuel. Mary is also survived by her brothers, Thomas and John and predeceased by her bother Willy. 

“Winnie”, as she was affectionately known by the thousands of girls she encountered in over 30 years volunteering with the Girl Scouts, also contributed her time to other community organizations, including Carver Youth Soccer and Southcoast Hospital's Cancer Center Patient & Family Advisory Council.  Mary also enjoyed spending time with her family in the sheltered waters of Popponesset Bay.

Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, November 29th from 4-8:00 PM at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 116 Main St (Rt. 58) Carver. A funeral mass will be held on Friday, November 30th at 11:00 AM at St. Kateri Church, 126 South Meadow Rd, Plymouth. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to: Girl Scouts of Eastern MA  and/or Sailing Heals Inc.
