Obituary of Paul Munsey

Paul Munsey died peacefully at Life Care of Scituate on the sixteenth of November at the age of 79.

Paul is survived by his wife Barbara of Duxbury, His Son Michael and his wife Beth and grandson Jordan of Milton, MA, and sister Marianne of Stoughton, MA. 

Paul was born on June 29, 1939 in Boston, MA to Broney and Genevieve Munsey. He graduated from Boston College in 1960 with an AB degree in History. He married Barbara Cizon, in 1966. They settled in Duxbury in 1972. Paul was an accomplished life insurance underwriter for a number of prominent insurance companies.  He enjoyed music, particularly swing era and jazz and was an avid reader of history, sports, and biographies 

A funeral is scheduled for 11:00 AM on the 26^th of November at Holy Family Church in Duxbury, with visitation at Shepherd Funeral Home at 216 Main Street, Kingston, MA at 9:00 AM. Fr. Paul Kilroy will officiate the ceremony. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Paul’s life. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Paul’s name to the Friends of the Duxbury Council on Aging  PO Box 2113, Duxbury MA 02331.
