Robert F. Barry, 88, formerly of Duxbury, died on November 2, 2018. Beloved husband of the late Marie L. Barry, he was a graduate of Boston College and of the Portia School of Law. He was employed as Vice President of claims by Maryland Casualty Insurance Company and after retirement, by the Guaranty Fund. Bob devoted his entire life to family and faith. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, St. Vincent de Paul Society, and various other Catholic organizations throughout the years.

Bob is survived by son Joseph Barry and wife Denise of Pittsburgh, PA, Robert Barry and wife Ellen of Marshfield, MA, Maureen Elitzak and husband Jim of Scottsdale, AZ, Eileen Sawyer and husband Bruce of Amston, CT, and Kathleen Hollenbeck of Smithfield, RI. Bob was the brother of Dorothy Cowdrey and the late Richard Barry. He was the devoted grandfather of Chris and Lisa Barry, Lauren and Michelle Elitzak, Alexandra, Kyle, and Kelsie Hollenbeck, Sasha and Michael Barry, and Bryce Sawyer, and great-grandfather to Ian and Oliver Barry. He was the son of the late Joseph F. Barry and Margaret (Donoghue) Barry.

Visiting hours will be held at Shepherd Funeral Home, 216 Main Street, Kingston, on Monday, November 5, from 4 to 8 p.m. Funeral from the Shepherd Funeral Home on Tuesday at 9:00 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Joseph Church, Kingston, at 10:00 a.m. Internment in Mayflower Cemetery, Duxbury.
