We purchased the house in Friendship from Mando and Marie almost 15 years ago. To this day we refer to that property as "Mando's house". Although we didn't know Mando long, we looked forward to his summer visits where we could show him what changes we made, and before we made any change we would always ask ourselves if Mando would like it. His grace, spirit and smile were infectious. Summers in Maine will not be as bright without him, but his memory will always remain with our family. Our deepest condolences to Marie and his family. We will miss him.
