Obituary of Robert J Cheetham

Robert John “Chic” Cheetham, Sr, 89, passed away on September 22, 2018. He is survived by his daughter Cathy-Lee Cheetham of Duxbury, Sons Robert John Cheetham Jr. of Plymouth, Michael Cheetham of Arkansas, Christian Cheetham of New Boston NH.  Also survived by his Daughters-in-law Catherine of Plymouth, Christina of Arkansas, and Christy of New Boston, NH; and his Grandchildren, Robert, Ashley, Christian, Charity, Caleb, Cassie, Emma, Eli, and Elizabeth; and his great grandchildren Oliver and Amelia Flory.

Robert “Chic” Cheetham was a longtime resident of Pembroke, Ma and the longtime owner of the Brant Rock Supermarket in Marshfield, MA.  He was born and raised in Brighton MA.  He graduated Brighton High where he quarterbacked the football team to District Championship.  He married Jane (Sullivan) Cheetham in in 1956 and together they built a welcoming home for family and friends.  An avid golfer and athlete, he was beloved by his family and friends.

 A celebration of life will be held at the Shepherd Funeral Home, on Friday September 28, from 4:00 to 6:00PMwith a memorial at 5:00PM.
