Barbara Petitti, 82, of Kingston, passed away on, September 23, 2018. Previously married to the late Joseph P. Flaherty “the love of her life” and later married the late William A. Petitti. Born in 1936 to her parents, the late James and Anna Mae O’Leary. Barbara is survived by her loving children, Sharon J. Callanan of Kingston, Sheryl A. Petitti of Kingston, Steven J. Flaherty and wife Rebecca of Bradley, ME, Shawn R. Petitti of Kingston and the late Scott W. Petitti. She is also survived by her siblings, Kathleen A. Grantham, and her husband Raymond of Largo, FL, Robert O’Leary of Tampa, FL, the late James O’Leary, the late Jane Manzanares and the late Maureen O’Leary.  Loving Nana of McKenzie and Delaney Callanan of Kingston and Tyler, Jacob and Dylan Petitti of Plympton. She also leaves behind her loving cousin, Pam Smith and her husband John, as well as many nieces and nephews. Barbara loved spending time with and being around her loving family. She grew up in N. Quincy, MA and graduated from N. Quincy High School In 1953. She later went on to graduate from Long Island School of Nursing in 1955. Barbara was an avid Boston Red Sox fan, she will be missed dearly by her family and friends. 
Visiting Hours will be held at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 216 Main St, Kingston on Thursday, September 27, from 4:00 to 8:00PM. A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, September 28, at St. Joseph’s Church in Kingston at 10:00AM. Interment will follow at St. Joseph’s  cemetery in Kingston.
