Obituary of Robert L. Waterman

Robert L. Waterman, a life long resident of Halifax, passed away September 18 at the age of 87. He was retired after working many years with the Halifax Highway Department. 

Bob was an avid out doors man. He very much enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping with his son's and friends especially in Machias, Maine. He was well known for raising and caring for all types of birds and had many aquariums full of colorful fish. He also enjoyed a good story and a great laugh with his friends. Bob could  could often be found relaxing in his easy chair watching old westerns on tv.
Bob was the husband of the late Barbara (Pierce) Waterman; father of Robert Waterman (and his wife, Judith) of Chelmsford, Russell Waterman (and Gail McMillan) of East Bridgewater, Cliffy Waterman of Florida, Clinton Waterman (and his wife, Sheryl) of Florida, Donald Waterman of Halifax and the late Richard Waterman. Grampa of Rachael Waterman, Eric, Daniel and Robert Waterman, and Sandra Waterman.  He also leaves his sister-in-law, MIllie Waterman and many neices and nephews and friends.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Billy Waterman for all his help and kindness.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours  at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 7 Mattakeessett Street, Pembroke, on Monday September 24th from 12:00 to 2:00 PM.  Burial will follow at the Central Cemetery, Halifax.
