Obituary of Virginia Pocius

Virginia passed away peacefully with her children by her side Aug. 23, 2018. She was the beloved mother of Linda Pocius of Delray Beach, FL., Debra Pocius of Mashpee, MA and Wayne Pocius and wife Michelle of Lake Worth, FL. She was the sister of Natalie Caramello and husband Steve of Plymouth, MA, Nancy Avis and husband Ron of Palm Harbor FL. Brother David Chase and wife Pam of Tuscon, AZ. and predeceased by her loving brother Edward Chase of Hanover, MA. She also leaves behind her Granddaughters Kristine & Amanda, with several nieces and nephews.

Virginia graduated Silver Lake High School in 1956 and graduated Chandler School for Women in Boston in 1958. She enjoyed the outdoor living lifestyle of photography, camping, fishing and kayaking.

Funeral service will be held Saturday October 20 at10:30 am, Shepherd Funeral Home, 7 Mattakeesett St., (Rt. 14) Pembroke followed by a graveside service at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, in Pembroke. Memorial contributions designated by the family can be made to Trustbridge Hospice Foundation of Palm Beach.
