Doris Margret Boudreau, age 94 of Pembroke passed away on September 7, 2018. Doris was known as “Dot” to many and Grand’mere to many more. Doris was a life-long resident of the Boston area, living in Dedham and Duxbury before moving to Pembroke in 1957. Doris married Henri Boudreau in December 1944 and was happily married for 61 years up until Henri’s death in 2005. Preceded in death by her two daughters, Joy Jordan and Gay Tura. She is survived by her son, Henry Boudreau, five grandchildren, Bill Jordan, Brett Jordan, Jennifer Turrill, Heather Dowd and Tiffany Newcomb, 16 great grandchildren and 14 great-great grandchildren. In addition to being the mother of three she worked for the Bell Telephone company for over 30 years. After raising their three children Dot and Henri loved to travel and went to faraway places like Japan, Spain and Mexico. In retirement they traveled across the United States and Canada in their motorhome numerous times. She loved to dance and continued to line dance with some of her lifelong friends into her 90’s. She loved to dress up and go out and was often the life of the party. She loved the beach and the ocean. But what she loved most was her family. She was a devoted wife ,mother, a loving sister and aunt, a great friend and an awesome grandmother. She will be dearly missed.

Visiting Hours will be held at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 7 Mattakeesett St. pembroke on Thursday, September 13, from 11:00 to 1:00PM. A graveside service will directly follow at Center Cemetery in Pembroke.
