I am so sorry for the family & friends of Carol. Such a loss of a kind & warm-hearted soul. I have saved this verse, author unknown, and want to share it.
"When you have a friend who is as close as any friend could be,
When you've shared so much together that you feel like family,
When this friend's the one who's often there, to help you think things through
And who see the most important things the same way that you do,
When you are comfortable...no matter what.... whenever you're together,
You know, whatever life may bring, you've got a friend forever."
From your forever friend, Barbe.

I'm so very sad for your family and ours. Carol was always there for us from when David was born through caring for Shirley. Our families will truly miss her with all our hearts. She was always there for everyone! I loved her with all my heart and looked forward for when she would come over with or without the kids to take Shirley to lunch and out and about! The world has lost a wonderful soul, but the heavens have gained another angel! My love to all of you, Matt, Katie, Mikie & Jenny! Please know that your family, (us), are there for you when ever and where ever you need us.
Love you All to the Moon & Back!
David, Laurie, David, Jr., Alissa & Adam Litchfield

There are no words I can use to express my sadness in Carol’s passing. I’m her cousin who now lives in Florida. She has always been a part of my life and always had a place in my ❤️. I have so many wonderful memories of her that I will cherish. My prayer for all of you that she has left behind is that you will carry her in your ❤️ Forever and keep her alive when sharing your memories you made together as a family. She will always be a part of you. Grief is a high price we pay for loving someone so much. I’ll be thinking of you all on Friday and wish I coyness there to hug you and celebrate her life with you all. Love, Barbara

I'm so sorry to hear about Carol passing. She was a painting student of mine and a good friend for several years. We had so much fun riding to class together and always stopping for pizza afterwards. Although we lost touch, I thought of her fondly over the last few years. I have a weaving she made for me and I treasure it.

Carol, you will be missed. Everyone loved you so much. Please look down upon us and give us strength in this life. Why God picked you to suffer with this horrible affliction we won’t know until we also arrive in Heaven. I will never forget the way you welcomed Peter into your life. That just shows what good people you were, and Donna is... he was so lucky to have you. Not everyone would have accepted him like you and Donna did, and for that I am forever grateful. Til we meet again, I love you.
