John R. Wall, age 69, of Bradenton, Florida passed away on Saturday, May 26, 2018 at 7:34 a.m. at Tidewell Hospice House in Bradenton, Florida after a courageous battle with cancer.  He was the beloved husband of Michelle G. Wall of Bradenton, Florida.  John was born in Dorchester, Massachusetts on May 18, 1949 and grew up in Houghs Neck Quincy, Massachusetts.  He was the son of the late Mary Flynn and Walter Francis Wall.  John worked in the Local 3 as a Bricklayer Allied Craftsman for over 20 years.  He was a veteran of the Vietnam War and served in the United States Navy.  John was a longtime member of the Quincy Yacht Club and enjoyed fishing, boating, hunting and spending time with his family, friends, and his dog Rocky. John is preceded in death by his sister Alice MacDonald. John is survived by Michelle G. Wall (wife); Saundra M. Wall (daughter); and John J. Wall (son); Mary Wall (sister); Walter Francis Wall III (brother); Madeline McDermott (sister); Jeannine Heath (sister) and many loving nieces and nephews.

Visiting Hours  will be from 2:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. at Shepherd Funeral Home, 7 Mattakeesett Street, Pembroke, Massachusetts on Sunday, June 3, 2018.  Burial will follow at the Massachusetts National Cemetery on Monday, June 4, 2018 in Bourne, Massachusetts at 10:45AM . In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society at donate3.cancer.org/ The family wishes to extend their gratitude to the Tidewell Hospice House for their support in his final days.
