Obituary of Maura P. Sarjeant

Maura P.​​​ Sarjeant of Quincy, 63, passed away on May 5, 2018 after a long battle with the effects of Lupus and complications after recent surgery.

She was born in Boston to the late Patricia (Howell) Sarjeantand John Sarjeant and lived in Delaware and California before moving back to Massachusetts 10 years ago.

Maura is survived by her sister Margaret Sorrento of Massachusetts, brothers Joseph Sarjeant of Delaware, Mark, Jack and Colin Sarjeant of California, nieces Leslie Sorrento and Kim Jenkins of Massachusetts and nephew Michael Sarjeant of California and many dear cousins and friends.

Maura was a graduate of UC Santa Barbara. She worked as a medical technologist for many years. She also had a law degree and practiced law in California.  She was an avid reader and especially loved science, travel, the ocean, her cats and music (listening and playing).

Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours on Sunday, June 10, 2018 from 1:00 to 3:00pm with words of remembrance at 3:00 at Shepherd Funeral Home, 216 Main St. (Rat. 106) Kingston, MA.
