Obituary of Norma M. Lewallen

Norma M. Lewallen, 69, of Pembroke, formerly of Quincy, after a long and courageous battle with pancreatic cancer passed away on May 3, 2018. Devoted wife of 44 years to Robert “Bob” Lewallen. Cherished daughter of the late John Stoddard Sr. and Norma Stoddard, and Walter (Ted) Crawford. Cherished sister to Susan and her husband Ted Cain of Pembroke, and the late John Stoddard Jr. Norma is also survived by her nieces and nephew; Amanda and Brian Cain of Pembroke, and Makenzie Stoddard of Plymouth. Norma worked for the Department of Defense at Hanscom Air Force Base, Bedford, MA retiring in 2011 with 22 years of dedicated service. Per Norma’s wishes burial will be private.  

A memorial mass will be held on Friday, May 18th at St. Theclas church, 145 Washington St, Pembroke at 10:00 AM. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Dana Farber Cancer Center at www.dana-farber.org. The family wishes to thank the dedicated team at Dana Farber, Performance Drive, Weymouth for the exceptional care, compassion and kindness shown to Norma throughout her illness.  Special thanks to Dr. Carol Mei, Mikaela, Ashley, and Jeannine.
