Glenn S. Everett, age 70, of Pembroke MA died on April 19, 2018, after a long struggle with leukemia and other health issues.  He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Ellen Goodpasture Everett, his sons John William Everett and Peter Glenn Everett, both of Massachusetts, and his twin sister, Gail Everett, of Utah and Waterford, Maine.
He is also survived by a niece Janet Everett Clark and her son Alex; sister-in-law Emily Goodpasture Roosma and Garret Roosma; nephew Colin & Laura Roosma (sons Calvin & Bruce), nephew Ian & Kate Roosma (daughter Ravella). 

 

Glenn was born in Portland Maine in 1947, to Victor and Hazel (Sawyer) Everett.  He attended Bucknell University, and received graduate degrees from George Washington University and Brown University.  He taught English at Temple University and University of Tennessee at Martin, and later moved into academic technology, working with faculty at UT Martin and then Stonehill College.
 

Glenn enjoyed nature, he loved traveling around New England, and particularly loved Maine.  Photography was a hobby he especially enjoyed when traveling. He loved music, and enjoyed singing all his life.  Glenn also loved playing tennis and getting together with his group of tennis buddies. 


A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, June 23 at 11:00 AM, at the First Congregational Church, 245 Main St, Plympton. 

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to Dana Farber Cancer Institute.
