Ann was the beloved wife for 67 years of the late Edwin J. Pasiuk. She leaves her children: Carol Canty and her husband John of Duxbury, MA and Steven J. Pasiuk and his wife Karen of Old Saybrook, CT. She was the cherished grandmother of Aaron Boghosian, Andrea (Boghosian) Norman, Kristen (Pasiuk) Spector and Andrew Pasiuk. She also leaves her great grandchildren, Wyatt and Sawyer Norman of Hilton Head, SC, Ethan and Leah Boghosian of Hopkinton, MA and Claire Spector of Key West, FL.
Ann was the daughter of the late Joseph and Anelia Przygoda and the sister of Stephanie Slapik of Duxbury,MA, Helen Lichacz of Tauton, MA and Amelia Drozdowski of Woonsocket, RI. She was the sister of the late John and Walter Przygoda of Providence RI. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Ann was born and raised in Taunton, MA. As a young girl she worked in the rectory, ironing alter clothes and shirts for the priests. This was a very fond memory and she always remained close to the church – teaching Sunday school and being a long time member of the Polish Women’s Club. Like ‘Rosie the Riveter’, she worked in a factory during WW2, and was proud to have contributed to the war effort.
Ann was a lovely ‘lady’ with many interests; gardening, cooking, knitting, sewing and being the best homemaker possible. For 22 years she worked at ‘Lady Grace’ as the best fitter on the South Shore. She enjoyed traveling with her late husband Ed until well into their eighties. Her passion for her grandchildren showed in everything she did and will be forever missed.
A celebration of her life will be held at Holy Family Church, Duxbury on Saturday, April 7 at 11:00 am. Burial will follow at Mayflower cemetery (across the street). Donations in memory of Ann may be made to Cranberry Hospice, 36 Cordage Park Circle, Suite 306, Plymouth, MA 02360. An online guestbook is available.
