Obituary of Dean B. Pierce

Dean B. Pierce (60) passed away unexpectedly in Halifax, MA on March 26, 2018.  Dean was a lifelong resident of Halifax.  Born in Brockton, he was the son of the late Barbara L. Rebello and the late Robert D. Pierce.  He attended Silver Lake Regional High School in Kingston and spent much of his career as the Manager of a retail store.  He was a huge Boston sports team fan for his entire life and enjoyed a good round of golf.  He was an accomplished bowler and even made an appearance on Channel 5’s Candlepin Bowling TV Show.

He was predeceased by his longtime devoted companion Patricia M. Dries of Taunton, MA.  Together they enjoyed travelling, hiking, and music.  The Moody Blues and the Beatles were amongst his favorites.  Also, he could often be seen playing his cherished baby grand piano.  

He is survived by many within his large family and has several lifelong friends.  

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of one’s choice.  A private burial is planned for a later date.
