“Beaver ~ Cinderella Team of 1977”
Oh so many memories you left us! One of my favorites of you is the vision of you flying down the middle ice with your long blond hair flying under your helmet…a sudden stop…a spray of ice…a slap shot into the net…hockey stick high in the air…and the crowd screaming…SCORE!
I don’t know why your soul and spirit had to be trapped in a compromised body for so long, but now you are free. Free to fly again. Fly high, Beaver, for Heaven is closer than you think.
Love Always,
Mrs. Fernandes (Brown’s Mother)
P.S. When you see him, tell him I love him.

I want to offer my condolences to the family of John "Beaver" Harrison. Although I didn't know him well, I do know Silver Lake had an exceptional hockey team because of him. He actually bought a set of free weights from me one time. I guess he wanted to start "pumping up."
With deepest sympathy,
Scott LaRoche Silver Lake Class of 1977

We were so saddened to hear of John's passing. We will never forget the times at the Hobomock Arena watching a hero take the ice! He was truly amazing. It is important to realize that our departed loved ones will always be with us. They live on in our hearts, in memories of their teachings, and in the lives of all who know them. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

My deepest sympathies to the entire Harrison Family.
Beaver,
I've seen Stanley Cups won, Superbowl championships, and World Series trophies, but can honestly say nothing ever, ever beat seeing you playing with the boys and leaving everyone in your wake. Going out the way you played; Top Shelf! Rest in peace my friend.
