Obituary of Virginia E. Beary

Virginia “Ginny” E. Beary, of Carver, entered into eternal rest peacefully on July 20, 2011 surrounded by her loved ones at the age of 86. She was the beloved wife of the late Eugene Beary, sister of William A. Willard and his wife Marylou, mother of two sons; David Bartell and his wife Susan of Randolph, and Kenneth Bartell and his wife Rose of Mansfield, grandmother of six; Kenneth Bartell and his wife Kim, Daniel Bartell, Tracy Bartell, Jessica Ryan and her husband Nick, James Bartell, Ryan Bartell, and a great grandmother of three. Ginny offered selfless and devoted service to her family, friends, and colleagues. Her love for playing the piano and painting enriched the lives of many. Ginny was one of the first women in the New England area to own a business. She along with her partner, Christine Shaw opened the “The Weston Office” in Weston Ma. As a pioneer in female business ownership, Ginny would often give her time to advise and support aspiring business women. Ginny leaves behind a legacy of perseverance, integrity and optimism to those who knew her. She will be greatly missed. Visiting hours will be held on Sunday, July 24th from 4-8:00 PM at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 116 Main Street (Rt. 58), Carver. A graveside service will be held on Monday, July 25th, at 11:00AM at Knollwood Memorial Park, 321 High St, Canton MA.
