Obituary of Darrell Bailey

Darrell Bailey of Kingston, passed away suddenly on July 7, 2011. He was 66 years old. Beloved father of Rachel, Joel, and Emily; and grandfather to Susan, Sarah, Rebekah, Atticus, and Thaddaeus. He was the dedicated store manager of Tedeschi Food Shops in Whitman, as well as a faithful CCD teacher and stalwart defender of religious liberty. A prolific writer, his writings drew upon his lifetime of experiences as a graduate of St Johns seminary, Navy electrician, social worker, sales manager at Goodyear tires, field agent, and 4th degree Grand Knight for the Knights of Columbus, and as a loving husband and father. He is now reunited with his beutiful wife Susan who passed away in 1999. He is survived by sisters Rosamond and Maureen, and brothers John, Kevin, and Norman. Visiting hours will be held on Sunday, July 10th from 4-8:00 PM, at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 216 Main st (rt. 106) Kingston. A funeral mass will be held on Monday, July 11th at St. Josephs church in Kingston, at 9:00 AM. Internment will be at St Joseph cemetery in Plymouth.
