Obituary of Ruth A. Ryan

Ruth A. Ryan, of Rocky Nook in Kingston, and formerly of Jamaica Plain, passed away on June 29, 2011. She was 98 years old. Ruth worked for many years at Boston City Hospital. In her retirement she worked at the Kingston Public Library Historical Room, and was involved with the Kingston Senior Citizens. Loving wife of the late Francis V. Ryan. Loving mother of Joseph Ryan of Pembroke, Ruthann Prifty of Harvard, MA, Richard Ryan of Pembroke, and the late Marie Ryan. Cherished grandmother of 9, and great grandmother of 11. Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, June 30th from 4-7:00 PM at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 216 Main St (Rt. 106) Kingston. A funeral mass will be held at St. Josephs Church in Kingston, on Friday, July 1st at 9:00 AM. Internment will be held at 1:00 PM at St. Joseph cemetery in W. Roxbury.
