Steve,Janice & Peppy: I hope that you receive this. I do not know if you remember me , but I worked in the ladies dept. at Almy's with your Mom(who I adored) and Marge Johnson for many years. I just found out about her passing (from my Mother, who sent me the obit in the mail). Words cannot express to you how sad I was to hear of your Mom's passing. I hope her last years/months were not ones filled with pain or illness. Although I hadn't seen her in a few years, as I have lived in NH for 16 years, I still exchanged cards with her and tried to keep in touch through mail and anytime I spoke with one of the old gang from Almys I always asked about her. The great,loving,funny memories I have of her will be with me always. Although I am sure you are heartbroken at your loss I hope you hold with you the fact that you were so lucky to have had one of the most wonderful people I have ever met as your mother. I know she adored you all and my memories remind me how much you seemed to adore her when ever you came in the store and I saw you with her. The love and adoration was very clear on both sides. Not many people are as lucky as you all were to have had such an awesome person as your mother. And I am sure your children/grandchildren feel the same way. I am sorry I was not able to be there in person to pay my condolences to you and unfortunately I do not know your mailing addresses to send you something directly. Hopefully I will be able to research that information and will touch base with each of you. For now please know how much your Mom was loved by so many and that knowledge will bring you some peace at this difficult time.I know your Mom had great faith and she is in a wonderful place now with your Dad that I know she also adored, and I am sure she is so happy to be back with him. My sympathies to all of you.
