Obituary of Veronica R. Urquhart

Veronica R. Urquhart, of Pembroke, formerly of Braintree, passed away on May 14, 2011. She was 95 years old. Veronica was born in New Bedford, and raised in Quincy. She worked for New England Telephone, and later for the YMCA. She was a member of the Emblem Club of Quincy. Veronica was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, who enjoyed spending time with her family. Beloved wife of the late Kenneth Urquhart Sr. Loving mother of Kenneth Urquhart and his wife Nancy of FL, Jean McLaughlin and her husband James of S. Weymouth, and Claire Jacobson and her husband Harry of FL. Cherished grandmother of 16, great grandmother of 30, and great great grandmother of 2. Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, May 19th from 4-8:00 PM at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 7 Mattakeesett St (Rt. 14) Pembroke. A funeral mass will be held at St. Joseph the Worker, 1 Macquan St Hanson, on Friday, May 20th at 10:00 AM. Internment will be at the Center cemetery in Pembroke.
