Maureen May Shephard (McCarthy), 66, of Carver, died May 3, 2011 after a long illness. She is survived by her loving husband, James Shephard Jr. of Carver, her three daughters Julie Walker and her husband Mark of Carver, Jodi Carmignani and her husband Anthony of Medway, and Jaime Wood and her husband Brian of Plymouth. She was the cherished grandmother of her four grandchildren Madison Walker, Andrew Walker, Anthony Carmignani, Jr. and Amelia Wood. She is survived by her Mother, Priscilla Johnston of Plymouth, her brothers Thomas McCarthy, David Johnston, Roger Johnston, Jeffrey Johnston, and her sisters Deborah Palluccio and Heidi Hooper, along with many nieces, nephews and cousins. She is also the sister of the late Leonard Johnston. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, and especially her grandchildren. She was a retired cranberry grower and a former computer programmer for the New England Telephone Company. Visiting hours will be held at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 116 Main Street (Rt. 58) Carver on Friday, May 6th from 5-8:00 PM. A Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Carver on Saturday, May 7th at 10:00 AM. In lieu of flowers dontations may be made to: Crohn's & Colitis Foundation of America, 386 Park Avenue South, 17th Floor, New York, NY 10016.
