Marilyn C. Brooks of Pembroke, passed away on April 25, 2011. She was 79 years old. Beloved wife of the late John H. Brooks. Loving mother of Jeffrey Brooks of ME, Steven "Harpo" Brooks of Pembroke, and Diane (Brooks) Kay of NH. Cherished grandmother of Heather Bryan, John J. Brooks, Robert "Bobby" Willett, Michelle Willett, Michael Kay, and Dustin Kay. Great grandmother of Lilly and Grace Bryan. Marilyn was the youngest of 8 children of Edwin L. and Dorothy Roberts.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, April 29th at 1:00 PM at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 7 Mattakeesett St (Rt. 14) Pembroke. Internment will be at the Center cemetery in Pembroke. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to: Cranberry Area Hospice, 36 Cordage Park Circle, Suite 326, Plymouth, MA 02360.
