William C. Carleton, of Pembroke, formerly of Bridgewater, and Marshfield, passed away on April 21, 2011. He was 62 years old. Beloved husband of Theresa (Mann) Carleton. Father of Hunter Strong of VT. Step father of Chris and Donna Pendexter of Plymouth, Brenda Pendexter of Plymouth, Tracy and Dennis Torrey of Whitman, and Cheri and William Foley of Pembroke. Brother of Lucy Carleton and Leon Williams of Key West, Carolyn Carleton of Cambridge, and Janet Carleton OH. Cherished grandfather of 9. William is also survived by his nephew Seth Mularz of FL, and dear friend of the late "Red" Dennis of Pembroke. Owner of "Million Dollar Dog" Billie Jo.
Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, April 27th from 6-9:00 PM at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 7 Mattakeesett St (Rt. 14) Pembroke. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 28th at the Shepherd Funeral Home. Internment will be at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Pembroke. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to: American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 22718 Oklahoma City, OK 73123-1718.
