Doris (Bemis) Hemmer, 93, of Kennebunk, ME, formerly of Kingston, died March 26. Wife of the late Raymond Hemmer and the late James Glennon. Survived by her two loving nieces, Jean Smock of Manasquan, NJ, and Elizabeth Milley of Yarmouth, ME, and a nephew Frank Tansey of CT. She is also survived by a grand niece Jennifer Gregor of ME, a grand nephew Ronald Milley of ME, two great grand nephews and a great grand niece.

A Funeral Service will be held at the Halifax Congregational Church, Rt. 106 Halifax, on Sat. April 2 at 11:00AM. Visiting hours on Fri. April 1 from 3-5PM at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 216 Main St., Kingston. Donations in Doris' memory may be made to the Halifax Congregational Church, 503 Plymouth St., Halifax, MA 02338.
