Obituary of Ruth M. Mathewson

Ruth M. Mathewson, of Pembroke, and formerly of Duxbury, and Rhode Island, passed away on March 22, 2011. She was 84 years old. She was the wife of the late Warren R. Mathewson. She is survived by her brother, William Stobbs of Cranston, RI, and also by her four children; Bonnie Buhl of Kingston, Linda Jackson of Plymptom, Susan Newton of Wirtz, VA, and Adam Mathewson of Newberg, OR. She also leaves behind 9 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Her family and great faith in the Lord was the joy of her life. A memorial service will be held at First Baptist Church of Duxbury on Saturday, March 26th at 10:30 AM. Donations in her memory can be made to: Trans World Radio, PO Box 8700, Cary, NC 27512.
