I thought of Patty today. I have not talked to her in ten years. For some unkown reason I thought about the time at Cushing when we both got a call to go to the front office. We had no idea what was going on. When we walked in we were both greeted with large beautiful bouquets of peach colored roses. Both from John. Both our husbands are named John. It was so funny, we couldn't believe the strange coincidence. Well, that was long ago. I was hoping to reconnect with Pat today. I looked her up on Facebook, hoping to surprise her. Instead of finding a Facebook page, I found this obituary. I was shocked. I guess it made me realize just how precious life is, how little time on earth we really have and the importance of not losing touch with those people who touch our lives. Pat was one of the most thoughtful, loving, caring and openminded people I have ever met. She talked so warmly about her husband and children. She was an excellent teacher and a mentor to all who worked with her. Bye Patty. May you rest in peace.

Patty and I worked for two years together at the Cardinal cushing School in Hanover. She was one of the most caring and loving teachers I had ever worked with. To add to her charm she was funny and self-deprecating. She was one of the first people to know that I was pregnant with my first child,Samantha. I remember how she would glow whenever she spoke of her own little girl that she called, Heather- Brook. i remember one day in particular when Heather was brought to the classroom to visit and she lit up and hugged her with such love. It was during the end of my first pregnancy that she was desperately trying to have another child. I know how happy she was to have another child, Jessica. We lost contact but I'll never forget her. With Love, Susan Libman Drew

I am so sorry for your loss. I know that only time can truly ease your pain and of course as the bible says in 2 corn 1: 3,4 " The God of all comfort will comfort us." Yes God's promises are truly comforting. John 5:28,29 " All those in the memorial tombs will come out."
Until the time God fulfills his promises may your family and wonderful memories comfort you.
Sincerely
stacey
