I met Dr. Shiff one day years ago, he was sitting on a park bench near Brewster Gardens. I asked if I could sit down and as we started to chat we found out that we both just lost a dear friend and were on our way to the same funeral. I made a special connection that day with Dr. Shiff and enjoyed on occasion a breakfast or tea with him. He was a gentle soul and I am fortunate to have met him.
May he rest in peace.
