Dear Mr. Hoover,
Last night while was scanning the death notices in Wednesday's Globe I was struck by your beloved wife's obituary. Your words of love for your wife and the profound sadness at losing her touched my heart. May I offer you my sincerest condolences.
My father would have written the same words about my mother had my mother left him first. They were married for 62 years and were very devoted to each other and my mom misses him dearly.
My wish is that you find comfort in the memories that you made during your life together.
