Linnia E. (Wainio) Anderson of Carver and Kingston passed away November 9th at the age of 96. She was the wife of the late William Anderson and the daughter of the late Jack and Hilda (Kallio) Wainio. Linnia is survived by her siblings: Enid Harju of Carver and Alfred Wainio of Plymouth. She was the sister of the late Emmie Kivi, Vaino Wainio, Aina Ahlberg, Uno Wainio, Saimi McGinnis, Urho Wainio, and Helen Rogers. Linnia is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and great-great nieces and nephews. She was born in Middleboro in 1914 and moved to Kingston in 1945 and lived there for over 44 years. Linnia was a cranberry grower, a homemaker and she and her husband were owners of Anderson’s Auto Part’s in Kingston. She enjoyed going to the dog track and attending Mayflower Congregational Church in Kingston for many years. Donations can be made in Linnia’s name to the Jordan Hospital 275 Sandwich St. Plymouth MA 02360. A graveside service will be held Wednesday November 17th at 10:00 am at Evergreen Cemetery, Kingston MA.
