Norman L. Hollett, 80 Died November 6, 2010 after a long illness. Norman was born in Natick on Jan. 27, 1930. He graduated from Wayland High School. He resided in Milford, MA for over 40 years and moved to Carver, MA after his retirement. He was the son of the late Eugene and Ida (Murphy) Hollett. He was the loving husband of Phyllis (Perkins) Hollett his wife of 60 years. Norman was also the loving father of Robert J. Hollett of Okeechobee, FL, Richard P Hollett of Billerica, MA, Elizabeth A. Dionne and her husband Marcel of Uxbridge, MA, Mark A. Hollett and his wife Helena of Whitinsville, MA and Susan M. Saddow and her husband Victor of Rumford, RI. Proud grandfather of Mark & Kayla Hollett of Whitinsville and Randy and Casey Dionne of Uxbridge, MA. He is survived by one sister Dorothy Morris of NY. He is predeceased by two brothers Merle Pineo and David Hollett and six sisters Charlotte Bulens, Marion DeWitt, Esther Anders, Sandy Gatto, Virginia Tognazzi and Maxine Moscatelli. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Norman enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren especially sharing his love of camping. He enjoyed spending his winters in FL after his retirement. Calling hours will be Thursday, Nov. 11, 2010 from 4-7 pm at the Shepherd Funeral Home at 116 Main St. (Rte 58) Carver, MA. Family and friends are invited to gather at the funeral home at 8am Friday November 12, 2010 followed by a mass at Our Lady of Lourdes Church in Carver, MA at 9:00am. Burial will follow at the National Cemetery in Bourne, MA. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Norman’s memory to the Cranberry Hospice 36 Cordage Park Circle, Plymouth, MA.
