Dear Mrs. Kirkpatrick and Family,
It is with much sympathy that I send this to you on the death of Mr. Kirkpatrick. I always thought a great deal of your entire family and think of you often as I pass the sight of your house on Lauers Lane when I walk in the Parkland and also as I pass your former house on Fairview Avenue. I always enjoyed chatting with Mr. Kirkpatrick from time to time, at the Borough Hall, when he would keep me informed about his family for which he was very proud.
